Undercurrent – the wild edge

By | News | No Comments

Tasmanian ceramicist, Eve Howard, makes beautiful wildlife sculptures https://www.evehoward.com/.

Of course, the Tasmanian Albatross Fund particularly loves her albatross!

Like these grey-headed albatross. This Endangered species breeds on Tasmania’s remote subantarctic Macquarie Island, but can often be found foraging in waters closer to home. Like all of Tasmania’s albatross, the grey-headed is affected by interactions with fisheries, plastic pollution and climate change.

Eve and fellow artist, Pamela Jones, have an exhibition Undercurrent – the wild edge at Wild Island Gallery in Salamanca (2 March to 2 April).  Don’t miss it!
